I am honoured to be on the tour for this amazing book.

My thoughts:

I was honoured and lucky enough to be asked to be a part of this tour, for this magical and amazing book.

I loved everything about this from the first word to the last, I was drawn in and hooked and didn’t want to leave.

The characters, the setting, the sights, sounds and descriptions well all right on the money.

The main character Padrin was a brooding dark shadow who I couldn’t help but like from the very beginning despite his troubles, with his childhood friend Varnia , the two made an excellent team through good times and bad I felt they complimented each other perfectly, another sign of a truly great book.

I normally get easily lost with a book with more than one timeline but this one was interesting, straightforward and added another layer to the story.

All other characters weather good or bad were well rounded , fleshed out, I felt as if I wanted to know more about each and every one of them.

The narrator for this fantasy epic was Guy Barnes, a new name to me but someone I will be definitely be looking out for.

The cover art was another thing that drew me in, it was mesmerising and you couldn’t help but wonder who or what was under that cloak.

I must confess even though it’s been a couple of weeks since I finished this, (and yes I know why am I only writing this now) but that aside if you want something abit different then give this a go, it has stuck with me.
