First off i am honoured to be included on the blog tour.
This was definitely outside my usual genre, I normally listen to crime and psychological Thrillers, so this was a welcome relief.
I feel like I was a fly on the wall in this story, it felt so real and life like, the scenes ran in my head like a mental film. I loved how I could picture it all taking place.
I felt for the main character Marianne from beginning right to the end, recounting stories from her past and experiences both good and bad. She lived the life we’ve all had at one time or another. Everyone can relate to school bullies unfortunately. All the other characters all fit in beautifully creating a well rounded and heartfelt story. I also really enjoyed how every other character fitted in perfectly.
The Narrator for this was, Harriet Carmichael, gave this story a beautiful voice, and I would happily listen to another narrated by her. You can find out more about Harriet below.
If you would like a change from your usual genre then this lighthearted yet emotional story is a great one.
